HVAC Systems
The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system plays a vital role in maintaining hygienic air quality and ensuring thermal comfort within healthcare facilities. These systems provide adequate ventilation with effective filtration, helping to sustain aseptic conditions and a healthy indoor environment. A well-designed HVAC setup also minimizes the spread of airborne contaminants, ensuring a safe and controlled atmosphere throughout the facility.
Gerflor Anti-Bacterial Flooring
Gerflor PVC Anti-bacterial flooring is a flexible, homogeneous vinyl floorcovering designed for heavy-traffic areas in healthcare environments. It is 100% phthalate-free, non-reactive to residual indentation, and features Evercare surface treatment that resists chemical stains and enhances durability. The flooring offers anti-static, dissipative, and conductive options, ensuring superior safety and performance. It provides Bfl-s1 fire resistance, TVOC < 10µg/m³ after 28 days for excellent indoor air quality, and demonstrates anti-viral activity (human coronavirus 229E) as per ISO 21702 standards.
Ceiling Systems
The Antimicrobial Medical Suspended Ceiling system is designed to provide a hygienic, durable, and seamless finish for healthcare environments. It features a secure void with controlled access through tools, a clip-in system with hinge-down tiles, and a concealed grid using the Deep Omega Bar suspension method. The ceiling has closed joints with beveled edges, allowing tiles to be scrubbed without displacement. It is resistant to corrosion and humidity, ensuring long-term performance. The entire ceiling integrates smoothly with the wall system, forming a tight, uniform, and hygienic structure ideal for cleanroom and medical applications.
Laminar Air Flow System
The system is constructed using AISI 304 (1.4301) acid-resistant steel with a minimum thickness of 0.8 mm, ensuring durability and protection against corrosion. It incorporates HEPA absolute filters (H14 class) in the WMSL laminar ceiling, which provide 99.995% air filtration efficiency, maintaining a sterile and contaminant-free environment. The structure is supported by Rapid Strut rails for secure and stable ceiling suspension, ensuring both reliability and ease of installation in medical and cleanroom applications.
Scrub Unit (Korte)
Solid surface products feature invisible monolithic seams that create a smooth, seamless finish—both visually appealing and highly hygienic by preventing dirt buildup. Their gently sloping shapes make cleaning easier, and the sinks can be installed individually or combined into units for flexible configurations.
These solid surface sinks were installed by Unimix at Ghurki Trust and Teaching Hospital Lahore, ensuring a durable, easy-to-maintain, and hygienic solution for the hospital’s medical facilities.
Operation Theatre Integrated System
The system integrates all audio and video devices within the operating theatre, providing seamless audio/video management and control. It enables the digitalization and storage of images and video sequences on a local hard drive for easy access and documentation. The system also allows centralized control of cameras installed throughout the operating theatre, including those built into the operating lights. The display setup includes a flush-mounted wall display and a 24-inch monitor mounted on an arm attached to the OT light, ensuring optimal visibility and convenience for surgical teams.
PACS Viewer
The system features a wireless microphone connection that ensures clear and uninterrupted communication within the operating room. It delivers high-quality audio, which is essential for effective coordination during surgical procedures. The setup allows for easy management and integration of camera feeds, providing seamless audio-visual connectivity throughout the operating room. Additionally, it supports direct saving of recordings onto portable devices, includes an HDMI video output, and is equipped with an internal hard drive for secure data storage and playback.
Pneumatic Tube System
Pneumatic tube systems are essential for hospitals with more than 100 beds, providing a fast, safe, and efficient way to transport critical items across long distances when every second counts. They are especially valuable during surgeries or emergencies when blood products, lab samples, or medications are needed urgently, ensuring quick and shock-free delivery.
